GHACOF58 registration open

Three times a year for more than 20 years, ICPAC organises open Greater Horn of Africa Climate Outlook Forum events to bring climate experts and stakeholders in the region together ahead of the key rainy seasons in East Africa. The overall goal is to reduce climate risks and support resilience to climate extremes, and during the events the impact of the previous rainy season is discussed, the outlook for the coming season is presented, its potential impacts are analysed, and advisories for decision-makers are generated.

The CONFER team is taking part in planning the three-day GHACOF event, and in particular the sectoral co-production sessions on May 25th. Our goal is for these to become even more effective tools for disseminating and analysing the potential impact of the climate advisories.

Register for GHACOF58 here. We hope to see you there!
